2022 Brazil elections: where did Lula da Silva win?

Brazil will have a new president.

The leftist leader Lula da Silva defeated the current Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro in a close electoral contest that closed in its second round with a difference of less than two percentage points.

Both candidates had to go to a second round on October 30. Neither managed to become the president of Brazil with the majority of the votes during the first round.

In the maps below, I analyze the results in percentage points by comparing the votes that both da Silva and Bolsonaro received in the more than 5,700 municipalities of Brazil.

You can zoom the maps and explorethe results by municipality.
